Menu Locations
Theme uses two default theme locations:
- Primary Navigation Menu (also a mobile menu)
- Footer Navigation Menu
How to configure the navigation menus
In the Destino theme, only the Primary Navigation menu area is available as mobile menu. The default navigation areas can be set by navigating to Appearance > Menus > Manage Locations. Set the Primary Navigation Menu to the “Select a Menu” option in the drop down to disable the Primary Navigation Menu location.
Where is each menu location displayed
A Menu set in the Primary Navigation Menu location will display below header on all pages except. The Footer Navigation Menu location is located in the footer, at the bottom. Footer menu only accepts top level menus, so you can’t add sub-menu items for it.
You can also set a Menu using a Custom Menu Widget and you can use it in the any widget area of your choosing.
Customize navigation menu
Go to Appearance > Menus and create a new menu. Add your menu items. Navigate to Appearance > Navigation. Choose the appropriate menu for each location or leave empty if there will be no menu.
