Next step for our WooCommerce Appointments plugin is to create better customer relationship management. It is not enough to just schedule appointments and automate the process, it is also necessary to manage customers better. This is essential for staff to be aware of current appointment status and how does it relate to customer.

Reducing No-shows

Taking appointments online also has one major issue – “no shows”. Lots of studies have been made about this and there are basically 2 things you can do to reduce no-shows:

  1. Reduce waiting times
  2. Better customer communication

With the latest update, you can now manage the customer status, so staff members have a better perspective of current situation, regardless the appointment payment status. In a very busy business, you always want to know the current customer status, so you can respond better and communicate with customer to reduce the no-shows.
