The latest WooCommerce Appointments update brings auto-selected days. By reducing the staff database queries, it has been rmade very fast, so booking calendar shows up instantly and price is calculated in a snap. Local time conversion, introduced with one of previous updates, is now more accurate and displays time correctly, no matter where you current are.
Auto-selected Day
You can now make the booking process even faster by reducing the first step of choosing the date. First available day on the calendar is auto-selected and all customer needs to do is to click Book Now and that’s it. This feature is very useful for events, where you only have a few days on the calendar and having this option reduces the hassle of finding first available date on the calendar. Much Faster
Appointment calendar and price calculation has been relatively fast so far, but now it’s a bit faster due to better staff database queries. We have basically put all database queries for staff into one request and that is it. Fast as “Flash Gordon”, … almost.
