I want to have this:

On the homepage I have a widgetized area and I need to show the custom excerpt of a page/post in there (the one I have put in manually in a seperate field in the WordPress Post or Page editor).

When people click on Read more they go to the single post.

How do I do that?

Can’t do it with the Bizznis Featured Page widget.

Unfortunately, Featured Page widget only allows to display content or limited content by characters. If you want to display the excerpt of a page specifically, you should use simple external widget, like this one: https://wordpress.org/plugins/page-excerpt-widget/.
